Please Support Judy Clark’s Application For Parole

Dear supporters,

In the past two weeks we’ve received many letters supporting Judy’s application for parole. We’re very touched by what you’ve sent, and we are so grateful for your unending support. If you haven’t already, please take a moment to send a short letter to the Board of Parole on Judy’s behalf. We believe that each and every letter sends a powerful message to the Parole Commissioners that our many communities support her release.

Here is the information from our previous email on how and where to send a letter:

As you know, Governor Cuomo granted Judy’s clemency application and commuted her sentence thereby making her eligible for parole.  As we wait to learn the exact date of Judy’s parole hearing, it is a very good time to send letters of support to the Parole Board. The Board will want to know about Judy’s transformation, remorse and accomplishments. Please be as succinct as possible.

Letters should be sent to the New York State Board of Parole at the address below.  The letter itself should begin with “Dear Commissioners of the Board of Parole.”

Letters should be mailed to:
New York State Board of Parole
Supervising Offender Rehabilitation Coordinator
Bedford Hills Correctional Facility
247 Harris Road
Bedford Hills, NY 10507-2400

You can also submit letters of support electronically through a link provided by the Parole Board right here (  The link asks for Judy’s “DIN” — (her prison ID number) — it is 83-G-0313.  Please note that we believe that hard copy letters are more likely to be read and carry greater weight.

So that we are able to make sure that all letters are received, please also send an email or scanned copy of your hard copy or electronic letter to letters@judithclark.org (or, if email is a problem, you can send a hard copy to Prof. Steven Zeidman, CUNY School of Law, 2 Court Square, LIC, NY 11101; FAX (718) 340-4478).

Thank you for all of your passionate and enduring support – it means so much.

Warm regards,
Judy’s Legal Team
